Membership Class
Contrary to common belief today, the church is not a place, an organization, an institution, or an event. Rather, it is the body of Christ, composed of many members (1 Cor. 12:12–27) who live out their faith together in unity, worship, service, and mission. Local churches are the visible representations of this body in our world today. For this reason, God calls all Christians to devote themselves meaningfully and faithfully to covenant membership in a local church.
The MICC membership class is the best way to learn about our beliefs, practices, and priorities. It consists of four sessions that cover the meaning of membership, our core beliefs, gospel-shaped church culture, and our ministries and mission. The class is sometimes offered on a single Saturday and at other times spread across multiple sessions on Sundays or weekdays. Participation is open to all visitors and those interested in MICC, regardless of denominational background, and carries no obligation to join as a member.
The next membership class will take place on January 31st at the church office (Herzog-Heinrich-Straße 23, 3rd floor) from 10:00 to 16:30.
